Tokyo 2020ne and Henley Town and Visitors

For the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympics, NUBC were incredibly proud to have 3 ex-athletes representing Team GB:
Emily Ford in the Women’s 8+
James Rudkin and Tom Ford in the Men’s 8+

Both crews raced fiercely, and after an incredibly exciting final, James and Tom managed to help the GB eight bring home a Bronze Medal.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these crews, and can’t wait to be cheering on more NUBC alumni at future Games.

More locally, we had 3 Blue Star crews racing at Henley Town and Visitors, including Emily Ford, fresh from Tokyo. Although Blue Star didn’t take any wins this year, it was great to have everyone back together for racing after such a long break, and incredible to see how much the club means to everyone
