World Rowing Cup II Linz, Austria
Five Newcastle University alumni will race in the Second World Rowing Cup Regatta in Linz, Austria between 21st-24th June.
James Rudkin moves from the silver medal-winning Men’s 8+ from the first World Cup into the pair. He will race alongside his pairs partner from final trials, Josh Bugajski. Great Britain will once again look to send two coxless fours. George Rossiter will race in one of the boats while Tom Ford will look to build on his 5th place from Belgrade.
Gemma Hall will make her season’s international debut when she races in one of the two Lightweight Women’s doubles. Finally, Emily Ford switches from the Women’s Pair the 8.
The BBC will be broadcasting live coverage of the finals on Sunday on the Red Button on the BBC website. Live coverage will also be available through the World Rowing website on Sunday morning.
