Alumni at World Cup Regatta 1 Belgrade
Congratulations to four of our alumni on their selection as part of the Great Britain senior team who will race at the first World Cup Regatta in Belgrade.
Following a successful Final Trials Regatta for both our alumni and current athletes, it was announced that NUBC would once again have a strong representation on the international stage.
James Rudkin will return to the Men’s Eight for a second season. This is the top men’s boat for the first World Cup.
Emily Ford will race in one of the two Women’s Pairs selected to go to Serbia. Her brother, Tom, has been chosen as part of one of the Men’s Coxless Fours.
George Rossiter has been selected for the Men’s Pair following an impressive 5th at Final Trials, in a race which contained four NUBC alumni.
The Regatta commences on the 1st of June with Live coverage of the Sunday A finals from Belgrade being shown on the BBC Red Button between 09.30-13.30
