After 3 years of cancellations, NUBC were glad to be finally back racing down the Tideway for WeHORR. And with mostly sunny skies, it was definitely worth the trip.
NEW A took away 12th (2nd Open University/3rd University)
NEW B took away 26th (4th Open University)
and NEW C came away with 83rd (9th Challenge Academic)
Massive results from the girls, and a good end to the Head season for them, bring on the side by side racing. Also a huge thank you to Thames Rowing Club for hosting us! We are incredibly grateful.
We’re excited to be back in a couple weeks for the Men’s Head and our annual Blue Star, which will be on for the first time since covid!

A special mention to our alumni: Em, Natasha and Rowena, who took 1st, 5th and 44th - and our alumni across the river at Tyne; Roshni, Hannah, Lizzy, Anna and Franny who came 40th and 2nd in the provincial cup.
Finally a thanks to Fergus Mainland for stepping up as top dog coach this weekend
Just 2 weeks later the boys took to the Tideway.
We were blessed with good weather, and it was phenomenal to see so many Blue Star supporters on Hammersmith Bridge.
