Tyne New Years Head

The Newcastle Women’s squad took on Tyne New Years Head and with this, produced a number of winners and medals with it.

Coming off the back of some heavy training in the New Year the girls took to the Tyne to race in the eights in Division 2 of the event.

The results are as follows :

W8+ Bradley : 2nd (b1)

W8+ McWilliams : 4th (b1)

W8+ Fantham : 1st (b2)

W8+ Kuiper : 1st (b3)

These results show a great step on for the squad from Rutherford and have given the girls a good opportunity to get a feel for the BUCS Head course which will be. hosted on the Tyne in Febuary.
