William Stewart put up a valiant fight in the Stewards final, pushing the Olympic Champions, Australia to 1 foot.
World Cup III
Hot on the heels of Henley, four Bluestar Alumni traveled to World Cup III in Lucerne. They brought home British Rowing's best ever performance at Lucerne.
Emily Ford won Bronze in the W2- , close behind the Kiwi Olympic Champions.
William Stewart reversed the result at Henley from the week before by taking down the reigning Olympic Champions Australia in the M4- to claim Gold.
Tom Ford and James Rudkin took Gold in the Mens 8+ to claim the overall World Cup title.
European Rowing Championships
All 5 NUBC Alumni won medals at the European Championships in Munich .
Tom, Will, Lola and James became European Champions, with Emily picking up an excellent Silver.
Senior World Championships 2022
The Bluestar crowned it's first GB World Champions since Ed Coode in 2001.
William Stewart won the Coxless 4- against Olympic Champions Australia in his first season.
Tom Ford and James Rudkin completed their unbeaten season in the Mens 8+.
Lola Anderson won Bronze in the Quad again at her first Senior World Championships after an excellent year.
Emily Ford took home a commendable 5th place after taking the race on in the 1st K against the Olympic Champions New Zealand.
